In the summer of 2006, Carl found himself moving from a junior video editor on a television program called Precepts for Life with Kay Arthur to leading an entire media department. He then found himself a few years later at the largest church in Mississippi, responsible for creating all media for Sunday. It was there that he came to realize that if a church of that size only had one content creator, then a smaller church would not be able to afford a position like that. Every church needs high-quality visuals to share the message of Jesus in an effective way. After serving on staff at Newspring Church for a season, he and his wife Katie founded Twelve Thirty Media in 2015 to help the Church with high-quality ready-made media, custom media and training. In 2023, they rebranded their ministry to Church Visuals with a growing ministry-minded team. They now impact over 60,000 churches and ministries, with their visuals being seen by millions worldwide.
